Rodrigo Cardoso Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is led by Professor Rodrigo Cardoso and his team of passionate coaches. The entire group is dedicated to helping each student through their personal journey. We do this through positive, motivating instruction that provides structured training. This creates a supportive environment that encourages students to become the best version of themselves. And that’s not just in normal classes. We pride ourselves on bringing the community together and encouraging growth in all aspects of life with different kids events, seminars, belt promotions, and more. History
Professor Rodrigo Cardoso opened our doors after moving to California from Brazil. He moved with the goal of sharing authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while building a strong community. His goal was to build a place where high-level BJJ meets a family-oriented environment. The academy has become a place for families and students in Vacaville to work toward their personal goals and change their lives. They’ve been able to thrive through detailed instruction and Professor Rodrigo’s years of experience.
After earning his black belt in Brazil, he amassed multiple championships and ranked among the top 5% of competitors in the UAEJJF World Rankings. Now, as a BJJ professor in Vacaville, his mission is to change lives one student at a time.

Professor Rodrigo Cardoso brings true Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to Vacaville. He trained under Master Diderot Junior in Brazil, earning his black belt in 2015. He’s brought everything he learned from Brazil to all of the community.
We bring exceptional knowledge and experience to the mats in Vacaville. With experience competing and winning at the highest levels, our coaching team provides valuable insights to every student. Everything we’ve experienced is passed down to make our students the best they can be.
